If you could participate in any sporting event in the world, what would it be? And, why? US Masters golf. I was a good golfer when I was 17 and it was my dream before taking up triathlon.

What is your most embarrassing moment in a race? Leaving my swim skin half on during my first western Sydney half Ironman.

I’m at my best when… I'm pushed for time.

Do you have a weird food fetish? If so, what is it? I love my mums Persian cooking! Nothing beats it!

Are you a Woolies or Coles shopper? Haha Woollies 'cause they have the Cocobella coconut chocolate milk!

What would you spend your last $50 on? Popcorn and Ice cream.

Why do you choose to be aligned with TITAN? The guys a TITAN really understand the culture that is sometimes missing within the triathlon community. They have developed a good team that is supportive and encouraging of your efforts and is infectious to be around! The TITAN team has been built organically with some of Australia's finest athletes as well as some of the best people! Being around the team and the athletes that also represent this brand with me has improved my racing and training massively!

Is there anything you class 'lucky' you have to wear race day - certain sock, bracelet etc? No one item, but everything has to be green!

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? Don't take life too seriously, you'll never make it out alive.

What is your favourite motivational quote? "The only person you have to be better than is the person you were yesterday."

If you could participate in any sporting event in the world, what would it be? And, why? Ironman World Championships - it's the holy grail.

What is your most embarrassing moment in a race? Being passed by someone dressed as a post box in a City to Bay race.

I’m at my best when… I'm fully rested and 100% focused!

Do you have a weird food fetish? If so, what is it? I'm obsessed with sultanas and ricotta on toast with cinnamon sugar. Can't get enough of it!

Are you a Woolies or Coles shopper? Whatever is open and most convenient.

What would you spend your last $50 on? Some sort of race entry.

Why do you choose to be aligned with TITAN? Simply, because the support they give to the triathlon community is awesome. It's run by real people who genuinely care about the sport. It's a second family to me!

Is there anything you class 'lucky' you have to wear race day - certain sock, bracelet etc? Not quite, but I do have a particular knot for my bathers.

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? "When a woman says nothing's wrong, that means everything's wrong. And when a woman says everything's wrong, that means EVERYTHING’S wrong. And when a woman says something's not funny, you'd better not laugh your ass off"- Homer Simpson

What is your favourite motivational quote? Think training is hard? Try losing.

If you could participate in any sporting event in the world, what would it be? And, why? Any top tier College Football match over in America. The atmosphere at some of the games is unbelievable.

What is your most embarrassing moment in a race? At State Titles one year, I was the last board paddler in our Open Board Relay and was tagged with quite a lead. On the way in I was on my own wave and instead of playing it safe I stayed on my knees, of course I fell off and ended up costing us the gold, sorry guys.

I’m at my best when... I have eaten enough.

Do you have a weird food fetish? If so, what is it? My breakfast is usually scrambled eggs, baked beans and BBQ sauce all mixed together in a bowl, I swear it tastes better than it looks.

Are you a Woolies or Coles shopper? Coles.

What would you spend your last $50 on? A good feed, most likely 4 Zambrero burritos (with guac of course!).

Why do you choose to be aligned with TITAN? The quality of the brands and people. As a Surf Lifesaving competitor you can’t go past the Engine gear, from the jammers to the bags and the hats, it is all top of the line, just like the team at TITAN.

Two words to describe yourself: ALL IN!

Is there anything you class 'lucky' you have to wear race day - certain sock, bracelet etc? There a lot of race rituals I have for big races. New socks, fresh hair cut and bright green Mohawk, freshly waxed down, new tires, fresh running shoes, fully detailed and serviced bike so it looks like it's from the show room floor, squeaky clean chain fresh googles there's probably more. But you need to look good to go good!

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? Quitting is not an option.

What is your favourite motivational quote? Sebastian Keanly Ironman World Champion, 
"If it's hurting me, it's killing them".

If you could participate in any sporting event in the world, what would it be? And, why? Ironman World Championship, Kona. It's the most sort after endurance event in the world and its where you race the best of the best.

What is your most embarrassing moment in a race? Crashed in a roundabout like a Hubert. Never should have crashed there. Loads of people watching! hahaha

I’m at my best when... I'm locked down in the hurt locker.

Do you have a weird food fetish? If so, what is it? I do t think it's weird but I can't resist a acai bowl!

Are you a Woolies or Coles shopper? Woolies.

What would you spend your last $50 on? A big breakfast and strong coffee.

Why do you choose to be aligned with TITAN? The support and family environment that TITAN create is unlike anything I've seen in an individual sport. I love being a peer of the team with a great bunch. The TITAN tours are off the hook. Racing is important but so is enjoying what we do.

Two words to describe yourself: Naturally untalented

Is there anything you class 'lucky' you have to wear race day - certain sock, bracelet etc? I used to have a ‘lucky’ pair of socks I wore for my first 7 IM’s… until I realised 8-10 blisters after every IM marathon isn’t normal. Turns out they weren’t that lucky.

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? From my coach when I told him how nervous I was before a race “don’t stress mate, you’re not going to war. It’s just a triathlon."

What is your favourite motivational quote? Today I do what you won’t so tomorrow I can do what you can’t.

If you could participate in any sporting event in the world, what would it be? And, why? Darts World Championships – Fanatical fans, 0% fitness requirement, all preparation done at the pub, you get a cool nickname… and the list goes on!

What is your most embarrassing moment in a race? Double hamstring cramp about 10meters from the finish line of a 70.3.

I’m at my best when... I’m in training. My wife’s exact words are ‘you are difficult to live with when you are not training for anything’. I have a very supportive wife!

Do you have a weird food fetish? If so, what is it? I personally don’t think it’s that weird but I eat exactly the same food before each race from about 3 days out. More of a risk minimisation strategy but some think its weird/strange/obsessive.

Are you a Woolies or Coles shopper? I’m a convenience (lazy) shopper, whichever is closest at the time.

What would you spend your last $50 on? Carton of beer and a lotto ticket.

Why do you choose to be aligned with TITAN? I was already using many of the brands that TITAN carries so it was a no brainer. Since then I have gotten to know the guys and their passion for triathlon and their brand is infectious. They bring a team culture to a primarily individual based sport, which I love.

Everything has to match, my lucky colours are pink and green.

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? Enjoy race day, you’ve done all the hard work during training.

What is your favourite motivational quote? Never grow up, its a trap.

If you could participate in any sporting event in the world, what would it be? And, why? Red Bull Flugtag cause it looks like fun.

What is your most embarrassing moment in a race? During my first race I struggled opening my first gel pack and lost aout 5 minutes in transition.

I’m at my best when… I smile and my friends are with me.

Do you have a weird food fetish? If so, what is it? I like to slowly eat all of the skin off the apple first before biting into it

What would you spend your last $50 on? Crazy coloured socks.

Why do you choose to be aligned with TITAN? Because I like being part of the TITAN family and know they’ll support me no matter what.

Two words to describe yourself: I asked my best friend and her words were loyal and neurotic! ha

Is there anything you class 'lucky' you have to wear race day - certain sock, bracelet etc? Always use the same towel in transition for every race. I have to check my tyres at least 3 times before I can leave the transition area.

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? Be kind to everyone! I am a believer in Karma and one day you might need their help!

What is your favourite motivational quote? A lion does not lose sleep over the opinions of sheep' I have this quote saved as my screen saver on my phone (when its not of ) and it just reminds me to keep my head up when things are tough and that only mine and those opinions of those who I respect really matter.

If you could participate in any sporting event in the world, what would it be? And, why? I always wanted to be Susie O'neil so I would be an Olympic butterfly swimmer. I am most comfortable in the water!

What is your most embarrassing moment in a race? In one of my first races before I learnt how to gracefully get off the bike. I didn't get out of my shoes quick enough and feel sideways into the spectators.

I’m at my best when... Had a fresh spray tan, out in the Adelaide hills on my bike or eating nutella crepes with my girlfriends!

Are you a Woolies or Coles shopper? Oh neither I am a Foodland kind of girl! 

What would you spend your last $50 on? This is a tough question for a shopaholic to answer, but, I would buy a chicken snitty pack and after, get a massage!

Why do you choose to be aligned with TITAN? I enjoy the friendship I have with Robbo and Wade and am very grateful to be apart of the TITAN community. I love my visits into the store to have a gossip with Lucy and I am proud to represent a local business full of hard working people.

Is there anything you class 'lucky' you have to wear race day - certain sock, bracelet etc? I have an old seventies beach towel, its bright orange and has feet all over it. I have used in every transition you'ree allowed to, since my very first race.

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? Never give up. 

What is your favourite motivational quote? "Age is no barrier. It's a limitation you put on your mind."  Added bonus is that, as you get older, you can’t remember your limitations.

If you could participate in any sporting event in the world, what would it be? And, why? Formula 1 driver, the need for speed! 

What is your most embarrassing moment in a race? Crashing into a 6 year old at the Australian Duathlon Championships.

I’m at my best when I have a bike between my legs.

Do you have a weird food fetish? If so, what is it? My wife’s cooking, she does cook some weird stuff! 

Are you a Woolies or Coles shopper? A true South Aussie, Foodland. 

What would you spend your last $50 on? My wife, need to earn some brownie points for all the racing coming up! 

Why do you choose to be aligned with TITAN? I was lucky to be involved with TITAN from the very beginning and was stoked with the support, advice and products they provided for iron5for55.  You know you are going to get great service and the best products when the Directors of the company all race and have a passion for the sport.  For me it’s a luxury to have a global company based here in Adelaide, and the opportunity to try before you buy is a bonus.

Is there anything you class 'lucky' you have to wear race day - certain sock, bracelet etc? Nothing I wear on race day, but I have to get myself ready for the race a few days out. Saves me stressing out! Maybe I should find something lucky?

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? Don't get caught up in what other people are doing, make sure you're on track to achieve your goals before worrying about your competitors training and racing.

What is your favourite motivational quote? Constant dripping will hollow out a stone.

If you could participate in any sporting event in the world, what would it be? And, why? U.S Masters golf tournament, I always wanted to play golf at a professional level. It would be incredible to see how incredibly finely tuned the golfers would be. I think golf requires the highest level of hand eye coordination and to play at Augusta would be an incredible experience! Next in line would be to race Hawaii.

What is your most embarrassing moment in a race? In one of my first Gatorade Sprint tri's, I couldn't get my shoes on so I did the run barefoot on the footpath, still took out 2nd place with plenty of blood blisters! 

I’m at my best when... I've had a great sleep, ridden 120k's with the boys and then get to spend the arvo relaxing with Em or my mates. Getting the best of all worlds without exhausting myself! 

Do you have a weird food fetish? If so, what is it? Rice crackers with avocado and Vegemite. Is that a bit odd? It's bloody delicious!

What would you spend your last $50 on? Probably a date night with Em, she deals with a lot of my crap so it's the least I could do to show her I really appreciate everything she does.

Why do you choose to be aligned with TITAN? The comradery between everyone within the TITAN Performance Group is fantastic. Each race is shared with people who have different goals and aspirations, meaning we all have different experiences to share with each other after the race. The range of products on offer is excellent, covering every aspect of triathlon making the entire experience a seemless journey to the finish line of your next race!

Two words to describe yourself: Focussed and conscientious.

Is there anything you class 'lucky' you have to wear race day - certain sock, bracelet etc? Don’t have anything particularly lucky to wear, but before each race I have to swallow and remind myself to have quick feet when I’m running.

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? Take control of your own training.

What is your favourite motivational quote? Far from what I once was, but not yet what I’m going to be.

If you could participate in any sporting event in the world, what would it be? And, why? American Ninja Warrior, I enjoy challenges and pushing myself to new levels and jumping around on things is always fun.

What is your most embarrassing moment in a race? In the under 17 tube race semi-final at Surf Lifesavings 2013 Australian Titles, I tripped over myself and copped a face full of sand. I ended up missing out on the final by one position.

I’m at my best when… I’m at my best when I’m around close friends and training partners who I can be relaxed around.

Do you have a weird food fetish? If so, what is it? Milo on toast.

Are you a Woolies or Coles shopper? Whichever is closer, usually Coles.

What would you spend your last $50 on? Keep trying Outback Jack’s 1kg steak challenge until I can’t finish it!

Why do you choose to be aligned with TITAN? Being aligned with TITAN gives me access to the latest and top of the line gear in multisports, from Engine’s Iron Jammers to XTERRA's new wetsuit top. There is also a wealth of knowledge and experience that the staff and athletes associated with TITAN are always willing to share.

Is there anything you class 'lucky' you have to wear race day - certain sock, bracelet etc?  Don't really have lucky items as such but more superstitious about my daily routines.

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? No one does it on their own so develop a network you can trust.

What is your favourite motivational quote? Anything Muhummad Ali but I am more motivated by people's actions, guys and gals like Travis Pastrana, Mick Fanning, The Bones Brigade and Michelle Payne.

If you could participate in any sporting event in the world, what would it be? And, why? It would be my own adventure race series designed to increase awareness around how lucky we are in Australia to have the different environments and landscapes we have, and how we need to take better care of them.

What is your most embarrassing moment in a race? I lost my marbles mid race once and climbed a tree cursing out there was a waterfall, when realistically it was mild mannered river ahead. Hallucinating is never good in a race and it took me over 8 weeks to recover from this one.

What would you spend your last $50 on? I'd spend my last $50 on my fish tank most likely.

Why do you choose to be aligned with TITAN? I love being a part of TITAN because of those people who are also a part of TITAN. The TITAN experience is a real and it just draws in really cool people  who I enjoy getting to know.

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? Only do something if your going to give it 110%

What is your favourite motivational quote? The pain of discipline is far less than the pain of regret.

If you could participate in any sporting event in the world, what would it be? And, why? Boxing Day Test Match. There's no better atmosphere and occasion. Plus it would be a bit easier on the body than Kona.

What is your most embarrassing moment in a race? Left my race belt and number in my transition bag at Penrith 70.3

I’m at my best when... Im backed up against a wall and everybody says I can't do it.

Do you have a weird food fetish? If so, what is it? I could eat Peanut Butter with almost anything.

What would you spend your last $50 on? Peanut butter, honey, fruit, coffee.

Why do you choose to be aligned with TITAN? Because Triathlon is such an individual sport so it's important to be linked to an awesome team, and there ain't no better than TITAN!

Is there anything you class 'lucky' you have to wear race day - certain sock, bracelet etc? No superstitions really, I just like to keep things simple and relaxed.

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? There is no such thing as a good bike leg, followed by a bad run.

What is your favourite motivational quote? Some people dream of success, while others wake up and work hard at it.

If you could participate in any sporting event in the world, what would it be? And, why? Ironman World Championships, Kona - all the best pro's and age groupers competing on the same day, same course, no other event or atmosphere like it!

What is your most embarrassing moment in a race? Getting my wetsuit zip stuck at Wollongong Olympic distance race and having to squeeze myself out of the neck hole with the help of a volunteer (it wasn't an XTERRA suit)

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? Concentrate on the process involved in the task... not the outcome. 

What is your favourite motivational quote? The end few lines of a poem “The Victor”...

If you could participate in any sporting event in the world, what would it be? And, why? 100m sprint at the Olympics - because the atmosphere would be amazing (and the pain would be over much faster than an Ironman!).

What is your most embarrassing moment in a race? Falling over with my bike in transition (luckily it was a small country race).

I’m at my best when… It’s summer!

Do you have a weird food fetish? If so, what is it? Natural yoghurt with coconut, almonds and Scooby Doo snacks.

Are you a Woolies or Coles shopper? Swap between them all the time, but will go to Woolies when they are running their “kids collectables promotions” cause my little boys love them.

What would you spend your last $50 on? Food for my kids (and maybe a lottery ticket to get me out of trouble!).

Why do you choose to be aligned with TITAN? Great XTERRA Wetsuits and products, Family feel company with a global mindset.

Two words to describe yourself: Competitive, enthusiastic

Is there anything you class 'lucky' you have to wear race day - certain sock, bracelet etc? Not lucky, but more of a ritual: I use the same towel (when allowed) in transition and have a checklist that I go through twice before I leave transition.

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? Trust the process and nutrition is key.

What is your favourite motivational quote? “Great things never came from comfort zones”

If you could participate in any sporting event in the world, what would it be? And, why?  Ironman World Championships – to race against the best of the best would simply be amazing.

What is your most embarrassing moment in a race? When I almost started another lap of the bike course during a sprint race in regional SA. I lost count of how many laps I had completed and as the distance was ‘a bit short’ on my Garmin, I almost went around again. Thankfully, I pulled in just in time!

I’m at my best when…  I’m happy, healthy and surrounded by positive and caring people.

Do you have a weird food fetish? If so, what is it?  Sorry, I am boring on this front. No food fetishes. But on the OCD front, I do have to turn off a powerpoint switch that is left in the on position if it doesn’t have something plugged in it – no matter where I am. Otherwise it drives me insane.

What would you spend your last $50 on? My husband. He deserves it.

Why do you choose to be aligned with TITAN? I am an honest, loyal and supportive person by nature. After dealing with the team at Titan for the past few years, it is clear to see that this team is certainly all of that and more. That is the perfect reason to align myself with such a wonderful company.

Two words to describe yourself: Really competitive (although Robbo/Foxy would probably suggest 'Bundaberg Rum').

Is there anything you class 'lucky' you have to wear race day - certain sock, bracelet etc? I use the finisher towel from my first ever race in transition to lay my gear out on.

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? You get out 100% of what you put in!

What is your favourite motivational quote? "If its hurting me, it must be killing them" Sebastien Kienle.

If you could participate in any sporting event in the world, what would it be? And, why? Superbowl, Quarterback of the New England Patriots. I love NFL and Tom Brady is a massive hero of mine...and yes, I do own a Brady #12 Patriots Jersey.

What is your most embarrassing moment in a race? Crashing 100m into the bike leg at Challenge Shepparton 2014.

I’m at my best when… Im focused, happy and training/racing well.

Do you have a weird food fetish? If so, what is it? Pre race rice bubbles. Dont ask me why, but it works!

Are you a Woolies or Coles shopper? Woolies 100%!

What would you spend your last $50 on? 2 Espresso Martinis!

Why do you choose to be aligned with TITAN? TITAN for me is family. Since first meeting the TITAN team I have been nothing short of impressed with their product knowledge, attitude, professionalism as well the interest they have shown in my development. They have stood by me 100%, helped me whenever possible and having worked together with them in several areas its good to know we have many more years working together ahead!

Two words to describe yourself:  High Achiever

Is there anything you class 'lucky' you have to wear race day - certain sock, bracelet etc?  No, I don't rely on luck.  I just try to enjoy myself, stay positive, focus on what I can control, and forget about things i can't control. 

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given?  Be present and celebrate the little things.

What is your favourite motivational quote? "You do what you can at the moment, and you don't look ahead" - Dave Scott.  It's on repeat in my head during racing, but has so many other applications in other aspects of life. 

If you could participate in any sporting event in the world, what would it be? And, why? The dream has been to compete at the Ironman World Championships, Hawaii.  Why...because you get to represent your country, race with the best athletes in the world, in the hardest one day event in the world and in the most beautiful place in the world.

What is your most embarrassing moment in a race? Busso IM 2014 getting my nutrition wrong and throwing up the entire marathon.

I’m at my best when… I've have a coffee in my hand, the sun is shining bright and I'm by the ocean.

Do you have a weird food fetish? If so, what is it? No fetishes, just creative cooking and a genius level of multitasking in the kitchen.  

Are you a Woolies or Coles shopper?  IGA mostly, but Woolies over Coles.

What would you spend your last $50 on? 2x coffee, fruit & veg box and a good book.

Why do you choose to be aligned with TITAN? The most inspiring and notable thing that attracted me to the TITAN family was the company's extremely personable and genuine approach to athletes of all types.  They promote confidence in their products and drive a supportive team culture focused on looking good and helping individuals to inspire, motivate and achieve their goals.  Similarly, my values within my professional and personal life are about inspiring and motivating others to improve well-being and achieve their goals, which is why I chose to align with TITAN.
