As a 30 something AG triathlete, I feel like my story has only just started.
Coming from a competitive horse background, triathlon was something totally different to my normal life. Over the past few years, I have moved up through the distances, really finding my feet over the longer distances including 70.3 and now Ironman distances.
After completing my first full Ironman at Ironman Australian in the beautiful Port Macquarie, I think it is safe to say that I have really found my preferred distance, sadly for my husband ;)
I am looking forward to completing more Ironman races and I dream of securing my ticket to the big dance in Kona one day.
I’m a Marketing Manager by day in Brisbane which helps support my healthy addiction. I have been married to my wonderful and supportive husband for 10 years and am an only child.
The thing I love most about the world of triathlon is the supportive community. No matter your experience or success, fellow athletes are always willing to help another out. I love being challenged and pushed beyond my comfort zone and I am keen to see what I am really capable of during my journey to Kona.
